Dr Darron Cook
Darron is the Managing Director at Aalto, and also a Principal Consultant, where he applies over 20 years of economic and related consulting experience to advice a range of clients. Throughout his career, Darron has led teams of specialists to discover and advocate for clients’ strategic needs via economic and commercial analysis. Whether for the commonwealth government or a private sector entity his insight is tailored to providing workable solutions which offer the the best value.
About Darron Cook
Darron’s career journey has seen him actively engaged in a number of sectors with a particular emphasis on conducting complex cost-benefit analyses for infrastructure projects which involve non-market (intangible) risks and benefits. Darron has played a lead role in preparing business cases for investment across a number of fields, including defence & national security, science & research and arts & culture.
In his more than 20 years of professional practice, Darron has had the opportunity to achieve consistent success for his clients, by gaining funding approval for their projects, and advocating for their continued support and investment over successive cycles. He has established a reputation for sound and unbiased problem solving which adds value to clients’ plans by avoiding risk and unlocking unrealised value, and bringing stakeholders on the journey of discovery.
Since establishing Aalto in 2016 with Toby and Claire, Darron has celebrated the opportunity to work with high-impact clients via long term, valued relationships, and looks forward to continuing those associations into the future.
